Kevin Jones is the Founder and Lead Instructor of Wiz Kids Magic. 

 

Born in London, UK, Kevin started learning magic at an early age, after he asked his parents for a magic book after seeing Master Magician Doug Hennings on TV.  By his teens, Kevin had developed his own stage illusion act which he regularly performed at local clubs, churches, PTAs, and for charity events. He was an in-demand children’s party magician with his circus themed magic show. At 16, Kevin was accepted into, as a junior member, the famous Magic Circle in London.

 

After graduating with a bachelor degree in Economics & Accounting, Kevin trained as a Chartered Accountant, and had had a successful 30 year career in business and finance. His career took him around the world, living in Amsterdam, Johannesburg, Hong Kong, and New York, before he recently settled in St. Petersburg, Florida. Throughout his career, Kevin continued to perform for family, friends, work parties, client dinners, conferences and training events. He often used magic to liven up presentations and to illustrate key messages. Kevin is often called upon as an after-dinner speaker and master of ceremonies due to his confidence as a public speaker and performer.

 

While living in New York City, Kevin worked at Monday Night Magic, New York’s longest running Magic Show. Kevin is an honored Life Member of the Society of American Magicians and Member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. In 2015, he was accepted into the Academy of Magical Arts after performing at the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.

 

As a founding presenter of the Discover Magic and Magic Explorers programs, Kevin is honored to share his knowledge, skills, experience and love of magic to St. Petersburg and to develop a new generation of magicians.
